Social security to include foreign workers
Starting next month, foreigners with work permits will be part of China’s social insurance system: whether they want to or not.
The Department of Human Resources and Social Security has been drafting a revised version of the Social Insurance Law that is expected to take effect next month. Among many changes is a requirement that foreign workers be brought into the nation’s social security pool.

Weiter unten in dem Artikel heisst es dann auch "To avoid making workers pay into multiple social security systems at the same time, the government has signed agreements with Germany and South Korea that would exempt foreigners from paying into Chinese social security if they show proof of payment into a similar system in their home country."

Mhh, was versteht China eigentlich unter "social security"? Das gleiche wie "Sozialversicherung" in Deutschland oder beinhaltet das hier auch Krankenversicherung? Einerseits fände ich das ja praktisch, weil momentan zahle ich nirgendwo irgendwas, aber wenn ich dann nach 14 Jahren und 11 Monaten aus China abreise, gibt mit die Regierung einen Sack voll Geld mit? Klingt irgendwie suspekt.
