After more than 30 years of socialist economy, at the end of 70’s China moved from a planned-economy to a market-oriented system slightly. The mutations of the Chinese financial system and its progressive opening over the two last decades reflect the back and forth motion of China into the global financial sphere. In December 2001, with the China’s entrance into WTO, the Chinese financial system committed itself being more open and restructured. Late Nov. 2007, what are the state of advancement of Chinese financial reforms? What are the key challenges over the next years?
Mr Béduneau-Wang was an Adviser for International Affairs at Euronext and an Adviser next to the president of Alma Consulting Group.
At 26 years old, with 8 co-authors, he published a book about the Chinese financial system with the youngest team (23-26 years old) who ever published in financial economics area.
This lecture is organized by the Beijing Hutong School, which is an Internship Program connecting young talents from Europe and the USA with both Chinese and foreign companies in Beijing.
